Depression Counselling
Depression is more than simply feeling sad or having a bad day. It can affect every area of life, including relationships, self-esteem, work, school, motivation, physical health, and emotional wellbeing. Many people experience depression as a sense of heaviness, exhaustion, hopelessness, numbness, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others.
One of the most difficult parts of depression is that the low energy, low mood, and lack of motivation can make it harder to take the very steps that might help improve it. Over time, people can begin to feel stuck in patterns of isolation, self-criticism, or hopelessness.
Therapy can help you better understand your depression, including how it affects you, what may be contributing to it, and what keeps it going. Through increased awareness, support, and evidence-based strategies, we can work toward reducing symptoms, improving emotional wellbeing, and building healthier coping patterns. You do not have to navigate this alone.
