Grief Counselling
Grief is one of the most painful experiences a person can go through, and it can follow many different kinds of loss. While grief is often associated with death, it can also arise after the end of a relationship, miscarriage, illness, job loss, loss of a pet, or other significant life changes. What feels deeply painful to one person may not feel the same to another, and all grief experiences are valid.
Grieving is not a linear process and can involve a wide range of emotions, including sadness, anger, guilt, numbness, confusion, or even relief. At times, people may feel stuck in their grief, overwhelmed by emotions, disconnected from others, or coping through avoidance, isolation, overworking, or substance use.
Grief counselling provides a safe, supportive space to process loss at your own pace and make sense of the emotional impact it has had on your life. Together, we can work toward understanding your grief, strengthening coping strategies, and finding ways to care for yourself while moving through the healing process.
