Services

I provide in-person counselling in Kelowna and secure virtual psychotherapy for individuals and couples across British Columbia and Ontario.

My work is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens in a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Individual Counselling

I offer individual counselling for adults seeking support with emotional, relational, and psychological challenges. Sessions are available in-person in Kelowna or online across British Columbia and Ontario.

Individual therapy can help you:

  • Understand and manage anxiety and chronic stress

  • Work through depression or low mood

  • Heal from trauma or PTSD

  • Navigate life transitions or identity shifts

  • Improve self-esteem and self-worth

  • Address burnout and emotional overwhelm

  • Explore relationship patterns and attachment dynamics

  • Process grief and loss

My approach is tailored to your needs and may draw from trauma-informed therapy, attachment-focused work, and emotion-based approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you.

Couples Counselling

I provide couples counselling for partners who want to improve communication, rebuild connection, or navigate conflict in a healthier way.

Couples therapy may support you with:

  • Communication difficulties and recurring conflict cycles

  • Emotional disconnection or distancing

  • Trust ruptures or betrayal

  • Stress related to life transitions (parenting, relocation, etc.)

  • Intimacy and emotional closeness concerns

Sessions focus on understanding the patterns between you, rather than assigning blame, and supporting healthier ways of relating that increase safety, clarity, and connection.

Crime Victims Assistance Program

The Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP) provides counselling benefits to eligible victims, immediate family members of victims and witnesses of violent crime, who may not be able to receive similar support elsewhere.

If deemed eligible, you will be provided counselling sessions (exact amount determined by CVAP) at no cost to you. Furthermore, BC’s CVAP allows for interim counselling before a decision is made about eligibility. This means victims can receive up to 12 counselling sessions during the review period, and, even if not deemed eligible, CVAP will cover the cost of the counselling sessions up until the time your application was denied.

The focus of our counselling sessions will be to help you recover from the psychological trauma experienced as a result of the offence. Safety and stability will be prioritized before trauma processing will begin.

Mental Wellness and Counselling (MWC)Benefit

If you are a First Nations person with status who meets the Medical Services Plan definition of residence in BC, you may be eligible for the Mental Wellness & Counselling Benefit through First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).

This benefit provides up to 22 hours of counselling services which are directly-billed to Pacific Blue Cross. Pre-authorization is required prior to our first session to ensure eligibility.
